In the Mathematics Curriculum Standard of Compulsory Education(2011 edition)(hereinafter referred to as the New Curriculum Standard),geometric intuition is one of the ten core concepts in the mathematics curriculum standard.In the new curriculum standard,geometric intuition is mainly used to describe and analyze problems by means of graphics.With the help of geometric intuition,complex mathematical problems can be simplified and visualized,which is helpful to explore the idea of solving problems and predict the results.Geometric intuition can help students intuitively understand mathematics,which plays an important role in the whole process of mathematics learning.Therefore,it is particularly important for teachers to understand the connotation of geometric intuition and cultivate students' geometric intuition in the teaching process.This study makes the following specific research by observing the learning status of the class taught by the author:(1)Make students gradually develop the drawing habit in teaching;(2)Attach importance to transformation--make the graph move;(3)Learn to understand mathematics from the perspective of "number" and "form";(4)Master and use some basic graphics to solve problems.Through the above research,four specific cultivation strategies are proposed for cultivating junior high school students' geometric intuition:(1)Make students gradually develop the drawing habit in teaching;(2)Attach importance to transformation--make the graph move;(3)Learn to understand mathematics from the perspective of "number"and "form";(4)Master and use some basic graphics to solve problems.
