Collage is an important form of artistic expression in primary school art courses.Through the study and production of collages,students' imagination and creativity can be cultivated,and they can learn concrete,intention and abstract,which can express the students' rich emotions and thoughts.Through research,it is found that in the current collage teaching,teachers are often activity-oriented and pay too much attention to the presentation of works,while ignoring students' grasp of core concepts."Understanding by Design"("Ub D" for short),as a teaching design that emphasizes "the end as the beginning",has clear learning goals and evaluation evidence,which can cause students to think deeply about the content of the course.Therefore,in order to improve the effect of collage teaching,it is worth researching to combine Ub D theory with collage teaching in elementary schools,and to explore the strategy of integrating Ub D theory into art teaching.The main object of this study is the middle and low grades of primary school students.First explore the theoretical characteristics of Ub D,from the teaching process,evaluation methods and teaching basis of three aspects of Ub D theory compared with the traditional teaching mode.This paper develops unit courses around big concepts and basic problems,formulates detailed evaluation evidence and evaluation gauges,and carries out teaching practice research.The results show that the collage teaching design integrated with Ub D theory can effectively help students understand the course content,and most of the students' understanding level has reached a relatively ideal level.Based on this,the value of Ub D theory is summarized as follows: Optimize the characteristics of "hands-on and brain-oriented" in collage teaching,effectively promote the in-depth thinking and transfer of knowledge,and at the same time,create more opportunities for students to explore and discover.According to the teaching practice,the teaching implementation suggestions are summarized: 1.Correct interpretation and reasonable use of teaching materials.2.Design student-centered authentic learning tasks.3.Integrate evaluation,objectives and teaching.By introducing Ub D theory into collage teaching,this paper explores a new direction of collage teaching,and provides more ideas and possibilities for the teaching of middle and low section collage in primary schools.
