Acute trigonometric function is the basic knowledge of elementary mathematics.It plays an important role in solving practical problems.This paper studies the following two questions:(1)what is the learning effect of acute angle trigonometric function of ninth grade students?(2)What are the main factors affecting the learning effect of acute trigonometric function of grade 9 students?This paper mainly adopts the methods of questionnaire test,questionnaire survey and interview.Taking the ninth grade students of a middle school in Shache County as the research object,through the test paper,student self-evaluation and teacher interview,we know the learning effect of ninth grade students in acute angle trigonometric function and explore the factors affecting the learning effect.The following conclusions can be drawn from the analysis:The test shows that:(1)students can not correctly understand the functional relationship between which two variables are reflected in the acute angle trigonometric function;(2)Students can't understand the essence of trigonometric function,but they can't calculate the special value of trigonometric function;(3)Students do not have a clear understanding of acute angle trigonometric function and the relationship between edges and angles of right triangle,and can not comprehensively use Pythagorean theorem;(4)Students cannot turn practical problems related to acute angle trigonometry into mathematical problems.The self-evaluation results of students in the dimensions of knowledge and skills in the questionnaire reflect that the learning effect of acute trigonometric function of grade 9 students is not good,mainly as follows:(1)more than 30% of students can not describe and understand the definition of acute trigonometric function;(2)More than 55% of the students cannot correctly understand the meaning and expression of Sina,Cosa and Tana;(3)52.04% of the students could not understand the idea of combination of numbers and shapes,classified discussion,transformation and model embodied in acute angle trigonometric function;(4)About 40% of the students can't remember the trigonometric function value of special angle,and can't use the trigonometric function value of special angle to calculate;(5)55% of the students can not correctly recognize the image to solve the related right triangle problems;(6)55%of the students could not understand the concepts of elevation,depression,direction,slope and slope angle;(7)52.55% of the students can't turn the practical problems related to acute angle trigonometric function into mathematical problems;(8)55% of the students can't solve the practical application problems related to acute angle trigonometric function.The main factors affecting the learning effect of acute trigonometric function of ninth grade students are:(1)teachers' factors;(2)Student factors;(3)Acute angle trigonometric function itself.Based on the above conclusions,some suggestions are put forward from the level of teachers and students,so as to make teachers' teaching more targeted and better improve the learning effect of acute trigonometric function of ninth grade students.
