In 2020,the Ministry of Education formulated and issued the "General High School Biology Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition,2020 Revision)",which condensed the core literacy of high school biology into four aspects: life concept,scientific thinking,scientific inquiry and social responsibility.Among them,social responsibility is an important quality for students to establish values and develop necessary characters,and plays an important role in the process of students' learning and social survival.Biology is one of the important disciplines in the field of science.In the ordinary high school textbook "Biology"(hereinafter referred to as the textbook)published by the People's Education Publishing House in 2019,in addition to the main text,auxiliary columns of various kinds are also set up.These columns contain a large number of social responsibility education elements,deeply excavated and reasonably penetrated in teaching,which is of great help in cultivating students' social responsibility literacy.This study adopts the method of literature reading,questionnaire survey and action research,combined with the content of the relevant columns of the textbook,to explore and practice the cultivation of students' social responsibility literacy by using the columns in the textbook.The main research contents and results are as follows.Through a questionnaire survey on teachers and students of three schools A,B,and C in Harbin,we can understand the current situation of using textbook columns to cultivate social responsibility literacy from different dimensions,and clarify the necessity of using textbook columns to cultivate students' social responsibility literacy.The survey results show that teachers pay more attention to and recognize the use of textbook columns to cultivate students' social responsibility literacy,and are willing to use the content in textbook columns to cultivate students' social responsibility literacy;students pay more attention to and recognize textbook columns,but seldom use them to cultivate their own Social responsibility literacy,from which can be seen that it is very necessary to use the textbook columns to cultivate students' social responsibility literacy.The chapters related to social responsibility literacy in the five modules of the textbook "Molecules and Cells","Genetics and Evolution","Homeostasis and Regulation","Biology and Environment",and "Biotechnology and Engineering" have been comprehensively sorted out.The column of elements is systematically summarized,and the function of each column content in cultivating students' social responsibility literacy is analyzed.Taking students from two classes in the first grade of a middle school in Harbin as the research object,a three-month teaching practice of using the textbook column to cultivate students' social responsibility literacy was carried out.Questionnaires were distributed to students before and after the practice to test the implementation effect.The results show that the use of textbook columns to cultivate students' social responsibility literacy has a certain effect,especially in the "focus on social issues,identify superstition and pseudoscience","combined with local resources to carry out scientific practice,try to solve the problem of real life","form ecological consciousness,participate in environmental protection practice" has certain promotion,but the effect is not significant in "promoting the concept and knowledge of caring for life to others and advocating a healthy and civilized lifestyle".The above research results show that the use of textbook columns to cultivate students' social responsibility literacy will not be effective in a short period of time,but requires long-term persistence and continuous exploration by teachers.This research has certain reference significance for high school biology teachers to use textbook columns to cultivate students' social responsibility literacy,and can also provide reference for teachers of other disciplines to cultivate students' social responsibility literacy by using textbook columns.
