Art education in kindergarten is an important part of Preschool education.The teacher-child interaction in large class art teaching activities is a two-way interpersonal communication between teachers and children based on art teaching.High-quality teacher-child interaction plays an important role in children’s discovery,feeling and creation of beauty.A good teacher child relationship can improve the efficiency of kindergarten art teaching activities,and then improve the quality of kindergarten art education.In this study,12 large classes in four kindergartens in Xining city were taken as the research objects.The CLASS PRE-K classroom evaluation system was used as the research tool,and non-participatory observation was used to score 24 effective art teaching videos,and the overall quality of teacher-child interaction in 24 videos was analyzed from three fields and ten dimensions.SPSS25.0 statistical software was used to carry out the correlation statistical analysis of scores between each dimension of CLASS PRE-K.The main characteristics of teacher-child interaction quality in ten dimensions are as follows:teacher-child interaction generally presents a positive atmosphere,and the degree of negative atmosphere is low;The sensitivity of teachers need to be improved;Teachers play a leading role,and the main role of children needs to be improved;Teachers lack management of children’s positive behaviors;teachers do not maximize the learning time of children;The way teachers put materials is not attractive to children;teachers can not effectively promote the development of children’s reasoning ability and creativity;Teachers’ feedback is mechanical and cannot effectively promote children’s thinking;Teachers have fewer open questions and advanced language.Through research and analysis,it is concluded that the factors affecting the quality of teacher-child interaction are as follows:First for the teacher level,teachers’ professional ideas,teachers’ professional knowledge,teachers’ art teaching knowledge literacy and teachers’ personal characteristics will affect the quality of teacher-child interaction.Second,the level of children: Children’s own characteristics and early art experience will have an impact on the quality of teacher-child interaction.Third,the kindergarten level:,the art teaching concept of kindergarten will have an impact on the quality of teacher-child interaction in large class art teaching activities.Finally,suggestions are put forward to improve the quality of teacher-child interaction.At the level of teachers,to improve the sensitivity of preschool teachers with "child-centered";Respect the individual differences of children’s development and timely provide scaffolding;Improve professional knowledge and aesthetic literacy,promote the development of children’s reasoning ability and creativity.At the kindergarten level,set up the correct concept of art education,strengthen art teaching and training;Effectively cooperate with their families and help parents to correctly understand the art education.
