With the exchange of world cultures in the new era,the values of our people are diversified and their ideals and beliefs are affected,especially among the youth.In order to better implement the educational task of "establishing moral education","Curriculum Civics" has emerged,aiming at forming synergy between various courses and ideological and political theory courses.As a basic course in high school,high school chemistry plays an important role in imparting knowledge and leading values to high school students,so it is important to carry out research on thinking politics in high school chemistry curriculum.The purpose of this study is to understand the definition of the concept of thinking politics in curriculum and the current construction of thinking politics in high school chemistry curriculum,to sort out and discover the elements of thinking politics through literature analysis and research,and to design teaching cases of thinking politics in high school chemistry curriculum with the knowledge of "elements and their compounds" as the carrier.The aim is to provide a library of teaching cases for teaching chemistry in high school.According to the relevant literature,the current situation of "curriculum thinking" and "elements and their compounds" is analyzed,which shows that the research on curriculum thinking is mainly focused on higher education,and there is less research on high school curriculum thinking,and even less research on chemistry.In contrast,there is a large amount of literature on the knowledge of elements and their compounds,which has been studied from various aspects.Through reviewing the literature and related materials,it is found that there are a wide range of resources for the discovery of Civic Science elements.In this study,Civic Science elements are divided into 4 dimensions,and 20 Civic Science elements are subdivided,and Civic Science education materials are discovered from 4 aspects: current affairs hotspots,chemical history,Chinese culture and chemical experiments.Through interviews and questionnaires with front-line high school teachers and students,we found that the current construction of curriculum Civics in high school chemistry is poor.The survey results show that most teachers and students have some limitations in their understanding of the Civics of the curriculum and the implementation of the Civics of the curriculum needs to be further strengthened,but they all indicate that integrating Civics with chemistry for teaching can enhance the effect of Civics education in chemistry teaching.In addition,high school teachers showed that the knowledge of elements and their compounds contains many elements of think-politics,and chemistry teaching under the concept of think-politics can be conducted.By analyzing the Civic Education resources involved in the elements and their compounds in the 2019 Compulsory Textbook,I found that there are many Civic Education elements in the chemistry textbook.The author has also designed and arranged the integration of thinking and politics elements into the teaching of elements and their compounds in different teaching sessions,and selected "the properties of chlorine gas,iron and its compounds,ammonia and ammonium salts" to design a teaching case under the concept of thinking and politics in the curriculum,which is expected to provide reference and consideration for the implementation of thinking and politics teaching in high school chemistry curriculum.Therefore,I believe that it is feasible to implement the Civics in Chemistry curriculum in high school,and its implementation effect is worthy of expectation.
