The new curriculum reform emphasizes the teaching based on "core literacy",which promotes the students to develop the ability of exploring new knowledge, analyzing and solving problems. This is consistent with the concept of advanced learning advocated by Cognitive Flexibility Theory. That is,it not only proposes to accept multiple representations in ill-structured problem situations,to explore and build a knowledge system consciously, but also suggests to use the results to analyze and solve problems in new situations flexibly.Based on the analysis angle of the ill-structured problem, this article hopes to conduct further analysis for the classroom teaching and provide practical operation teaching strategy for the front-line teachers.First of all, through consulting the literature, the thesis reviews Cognitive Flexibility Theory and ill-structured problem to understand the core ideas of this theory, and surveys on the context of ill-structured problem and related characteristics.Secondly, through the methods of questionnaire, interview and classroom observation, the thesis makes a comprehensive analysis and summary of the current teaching situation of ill-structured problems.Afterward, based on Cognitive Flexibility Theory, the thesis proposes some teaching strategies for the design and teaching of ill-structured problems. Finally, according to the teaching strategy, the author designs a section of teaching and practice. The investigation shows that the students look forward to participating the classroom which is active, multiple and inquisitive, while they have weak interest and ability to solve ill-structured problem. In addition, teachers are unwilling to carry out teaching activities for ill-structured problems, and think that there is no good teaching theory and strategy to support ill-structured problem teaching. In this thesis, the author proposes some detailed suggestions on the teaching of ill-structured mathematical problems based on Cognitive Flexibility Theory from three aspects: teaching principles, teaching organization and teaching design, and puts the theoretical suggestions into practice.
