With the deepening of the construction of a sports power, highly professional tennis has become an indispensable part of it,which has attracted the attention of many Chinese scientific researchers and has been committed to tennis scientific research. So it is very important to clarify the specific progress, development trends and priorities, and the remaining problems of tennis research in order to promote the further development of Chinese tennis research.Bibliometrics,as a subject that studies the distribution structure, quantitative relationship, author, citation and other indicators of literature, and then discusses some of its structure, characteristics and laws, provides a direction for finding out the answers to the above questions. From the perspective of bibliometrics, the research used the methods of literature, expert questionnaire, bibliometrics, mathematical statistics, logical analysis and comparative analysis to analyze the number of papers, citation frequency, fund, manuscript time lag, research methods, research types, research directions, manuscript time lag, first author The characteristics of 10 aspects of citations were statistically analyzed. The purpose is to summarize the change law, progress, research focus and trend, and still existing problems of tennis research in China's sports core journals from 2010 to 2019,so as to provide reference for Chinese tennis researchers.Through the statistics and analysis of tennis research in China's sports core journals from 2010 to 2019,it is found that: 1.The overall number of papers issued shows a significant reduction trend, and there is a lack of high-yield scholars; The frequency of citations per article showed a downward trend, and there was a lack of high-quality tennis papers.2.The number of fund papers is on the rise; The number of research methods used is relatively small, focusing on the use of basic methods, and the overall lack of novelty; The research direction mainly focuses on sports training and sports theory, which is unevenly distributed.3.Too few development studies; There are too many "independent" studies, and there is still a lack of CO authorship.4.The age of the first author tends to decrease from the middle to both ends;Mostly male; Most of the occupations are teachers and students; Most of the professional titles are lecturers and associate professors;Educational background mainly focuses on master's degree and doctor's degree; In terms of units,it mainly comes from the sports departments of sports colleges and comprehensive colleges, and the distribution of various characteristics is uneven.5.The amount of citations is small, and the types of citations are excessively concentrated; The number of foreign language citations is small and the language involved is single. In view of this, the research from: 1.Increase the investment in the tennis research community to stimulate the enthusiasm of the majority of tennis researchers.2.2.Tennis researchers should pay attention to the improvement of tennis theory and practice,so as to improve their own tennis research literacy.3.Tennis researchers should pay attention to the study, mastery and application of scientific research methods.4.Strengthen the exploration of tennis, new disciplines and new fields.5.Tennis researchers have made greater efforts to learn from the existing scientific research achievements, and have drawn on various kinds of cited literature to enrich the theoretical basis of the research.
