The Ministry of Education promulgated the latest "Compulsory Education Primary School Science Curriculum Standards" in 2017,The new curriculum standards endow my country's science education with extraordinary significance and changes.One of the most prominent changes is that the starting grade of primary school science courses the third grade was adjusted to the first grade,and the first and second grades offered science courses,making the science courses in the lower grades of elementary school that had been vacant for more than ten years returned to the classroom again.In the elementary science education and teaching,the new curriculum standard proposes to use inquiry teaching as the main teaching method and inquiry learning as the main learning method,which also means that scientific inquiry teaching is returned to elementary school Lower grade classroom.However,various difficulties have been encountered in actual classroom practice.In particular,the inquiry teaching of science in the lower grades of elementary school that has just returned to the classroom is completely at the exploratory stage,which has brought many difficulties to the science teaching workers in the lower grades of elementary schools.This article will focus on the "Strategies of Inquiry Teaching of Science Curriculum in Lower Primary Schools",using the method of case study,taking L primary school as the research object,and collecting 20 typical activities from the first and second grade science courses as research samples.The investigative teaching of science courses in the lower grades of elementary school is divided into 7 links according to the elements of scientific inquiry,and each link is divided into 4 types,and each type is assigned a different value.The questionnaire survey method is used to investigate and analyze each link of the research sample.Through investigation and analysis,we have obtained the data of 20 typical inquiry activities to understand the overall situation of inquiry teaching in the lower grades of primary school.Based on the survey status of investigative teaching of science courses in the lower grades of elementary school,the analysis found that there are six main problems,the behavior subject does not point to students,the teaching content does not focus on the process of scientific inquiry,Teaching activities are more than enough and thinking is insufficient,and the teaching organization form is single,the teaching process is mere formality,and the teaching evaluation lacks formative evaluation.The main reason is that teachers have insufficient understanding of the objectives of inquiry teaching,neglecting the cultivation of students scientific spirit and inquiry ability,teachers do not pay attention to the development of students inquiry thinking,teaching organization and management are difficult,teachers ability to guide students inquiry is limited,and the development of the teaching evaluation system is lagging behind.Based on the analysis of the reasons,combined with the classroom reality and the cognitive characteristics of students,the following six suggestions are put forward: improve teachers understanding of the inquiry teaching objectives;focus on the elements of scientific inquiry and develop students' interest and ability in inquiry;inspire and induce students to develop their inquiry thinking;strengthen Classroom management improves classroom flexibility;teachers should learn science and conduct scientific teaching through inquiry to improve inquiry ability;construct a comprehensive teaching evaluation system,formative evaluation and summative evaluation complement each other.
