The development of science education in primary schools in China has entered a new stage,when the 2017 edition of the compulsory education primary school science curriculum standards promulgated.According to the requirements of the new curriculum standards,the implementation of primary school science curriculum standards in China is revised from grade three to grade six to grade six.The younger age of science teaching will certainly be confronted with the exploration of the method of scientific inquiry teaching for beginners.The lower grades of primary school students are in the primary and kindergarten stages of articulation,so their physical development and cognitive abilities will change dramatically.How to plant a seed that is willing to be explored in the heart of the child is essential for primary school science education.Through the exploration of theory and practice,this paper attempts to promote the scientific teaching research of the lower grades in primary school.This paper is divided into six chapters.Introduction.This paper introduces the background,purpose,significance,research ideas and methods,core concept definition,and related research review.Chapter 1.The theoretical basis of inquiry teaching.The connotation and classification of inquiry teaching are explained from three aspects: psychology,brain science and anthropology.Chapter 2.This chapter carries on the deep understanding and the ponder to the 2017 edition elementary school science new curriculum standard.And analysis of the new curriculum standards for low grade primary school inquiry teaching requirements.Chapter 3.Example of scientific inquiry teaching(activity)in the lower grades of primary school.Combining the experience and mode of inquiry activity,and primary school lower grade scientific interest activities,accumulated some practical experience,this chapter through two specific case inquiry inquiry teaching practice of lower grades of primary school carried out for example.Chapter 4.The organization of scientific inquiry activities in the lower grades of primary school.This chapter is based on classroom experience,and provides some experiences for carrying out scientific inquiry activities according to the characteristics of low grade primary school.Epilogue.The main contents and conclusions of this study are summarized.
