With the implementation of Chinese Curriculum Standards for Ordinary Senior High Schools(2017 Edition)and the extensive application of the unified compilation of Chinese textbooks for senior high schools,Chinese education in senior high schools has ushered in a new revolution.Among them,learning task group is used instead of the original teaching unit orchestration and integration,triggering the academic community to explore a new teaching mode.In the above background,the concept of large unit teaching stands out and becomes the focus of research.With the features of "overall planning,task promotion,situation generation",large unit teaching emerges in different academic seasons and subjects.In domestic Chinese teaching,the prose of the pre-Qin dynasty has always occupied an critical position,and its ideological essence has been enduring for thousands of years,especially in the high school stage.But because of the primitive and profound thoughts and the peculiar and exquisite language,it has become a hurdle for teachers and students to overcome.On the one hand,the application of large unit teaching method to the prose of pre-Qin scholars can improve the effectiveness of prose teaching,on the other hand,it can also provide some new thoughts for the development of large unit teaching mode.The thesis will be divided into five parts for elaboration,as follows.The first part is introduction.Firstly,the background and significance of the research are introduced.Then,according to the existing literature,the research status of large unit teaching and selected essays of pre-Qin scholars are summarized.Finally,the core concepts are defined.This paper will use literature research method,theoretical analysis method,questionnaire survey method and interview method to carry out the research,in order to render my trifling service to the high school Chinese teaching.The second part is the investigation and analysis of the present situation of prose unit teaching in the pre-Qin dynasty.Through the questionnaire survey and interview of teachers and students of grade two in three different high schools in Tianjin,taking unit 2 of The Compulsory Volume 1 of High School Chinese as an example,we made a deep dig of understanding of the current situation of Chinese teaching in high school.SPSS software was used to analyze the results and draw a table to clearly display the survey results.Then,the problems that could not be clearly shown in the questionnaire were further analyzed by means of interviews,and the causes of the problems in teaching were revealed,which should be paid attention to and improved in the subsequent teaching design.The third part is the sorting and integration of the basis of teaching design of large units and its basic concept.I traces the theoretical basis of large unit teaching,connects with the existing research of large unit teaching,extracts the five design principles of integrity,subjectivity,totality,noumenon and tridimension,and draws the "pyramid model of large unit teaching " for intuitive explanation.By referring to and integrating part of the foreign concept of "reverse teaching design",we can make a further refinement of the basic process of large unit teaching and construct a large unit teaching model suitable for Chinese teaching in senior high schools in China.The fourth part is the analysis of selected essays of the pre-Qin dynasty.The prose of the pre-Qin dynasty scholars arranged in unit 2 of the first volume of Chinese selective compulsory course for senior high school is selected as the basis of the teaching design of the large unit,and the direction of the teaching design is anchored by reading the curriculum standards,clarifying the key points of the teaching materials and clarifying the students' learning situation.The fifth part is the teaching design of large unit of selected essays of pre-Qin scholars.In this part of the exposition,first of all,according to the improvement of the large unit teaching process,I systematically state the complete teaching preparation link;Secondly,guided by the four teaching activities,the design of large unit teaching cases is presented completely.Finally,identify the difficulties existing in the current implementation of large unit teaching,and put forward new expectations for education reform,teachers and students.
