The implementation of open question teaching is the need of reforming the malpractice of exam-oriented education,as well as the need of realizing innovative education and cultivating innovative talents. In textbooks and all kinds of mathematics tests, the proportion of open questions is increasing, and the important educational value of open questions is discovered and valued by more and more education experts and front-line teachers. The maturity and perfection of education theory and the change and innovation of teaching mode need to be based on the current learning status of students. Therefore,an investigation and research are conducted on the current level of solving open mathematical problems of junior high school students. The main questions are as follows :(1)how is the level of solving open mathematical problems of junior high school students?(2)What is the difference between students from different backgrounds in solving open mathematical problems?(3)How do teachers and students recognize open problems in mathematics? The test, questionnaire and interview methods were used to carry out the survey.Based on the evaluation index developed by Gao Lingbiao based on SOLO classification evaluation method, test papers and corresponding scoring standards were prepared to carry out the test survey among 150 students.A questionnaire survey was conducted among 100 students and 10 teachers, and interviews were conducted among 3 students and 3 teachers,so as to have a more comprehensive and profound understanding of the current situation.According to the survey results, the current situation of solving open math problems of junior high school students is as follows :(1)the overall level is in the middle level.(2)Students with different reading comprehension levels, different learning styles and preference for teachers' teaching methods have significant differences in solving open mathematical problems.(3)There is a significant positive correlation between Chinese,English and mathematics open test scores.(4)In terms of teachers, they all recognize the great educational value of open questions, but often face some difficulties and obstacles in the specific teaching process. In view of the current situation investigation, combined with the new curriculum reform advocated by the students view, teacher view and teaching view,to improve the beginning...
