As a model of ancient novels,classical novels play an important role in the cultivation of students' Chinese quality and the internalization of national spirit due to their vividness,interest,excellent article rhetoric and contained enlightenment.Its value is reflected in two aspects: improving students' Chinese literacy and inheriting excellent traditional culture.So the thesis chooses "classical novel" as the research subject to carry on the teaching strategy research.In view of the long length of classical novels,they generally appear in the form of excerpts in junior high school Chinese textbooks.In Urumqi,Xinjiang,the situation of teachers and students reading classical novels is not satisfactory,teachers have insufficient knowledge reserve,and students face the problem of reading obstacles.Based on this situation,this paper discusses the relevant problems of classical novel teaching in junior middle school Chinese textbooks according to the requirements of the new curriculum standards.The first part,from the perspective of junior high school students,expounds the stylistic characteristics of junior high school Chinese classical novels and the value of Chinese teaching in middle school.The second part,through field investigation to understand the current situation of the teaching of classical novels in junior middle schools in Urumqi,Xinjiang,found the problems in teaching,and targeted analysis of the causes of the problems.The third part puts forward the teaching strategies of classical novels in view of the problems existing in teaching.First of all,the author interprets the characteristics and uniqueness of the selected texts,formulates the key and difficult points in teaching,and appreciates the charm of classical novels.Secondly,the teaching content of classical novels should be clarified,and the language characteristics and traditional cultural elements of classical novels should be paid attention to,so as to give full play to the teaching value of classical novels.Thirdly,based on the stylistic features of the novel,the teaching function of classical novels is explored from the perspectives of narratology and psychology.Finally,teaching methods should be improved,the whole book can be read through proper recommendation,cultural education can be achieved through the formation of special topics,and teaching efficiency can be improved through the use of modern teaching methods.This paper puts forward the teaching strategy of classical novels from two aspects of teaching content and teaching method,so as to provide teachers with a broader space for thinking and solve the problems existing in the teaching of classical novels in Urumqi,Xinjiang.
