In an aging society, people need more wealth to plan for their retirement and financial products and services are becoming increasingly diverse and complex, requiring a high level of financial literacy.University is an important stage in life, when students are transformed into members of society and have a high spending potential, making it the best time to improve financial literacy. In the process of financial education,in addition to the traditional verbal teaching, financial literacy assessments are also administered, the main purpose of which is to improve learning outcomes, and are therefore an important part of the overall educational process. However, the complexity and professionalism of finance requires more practical opportunities to promote students' understanding of knowledge and develop good financial behavior.Students do not have the opportunity to apply what they have learn in practice, and cannot detect the true level of their financial literacy. The aim of this study is to design a financial literacy board game measurement tool, which is integrated with the theme of life,to provide learners with sufficient information environment and opportunities to practice in a simulated real-life situation, and to effectively assess learners' financial literacy in the course of the game in relation to their financial behaviors, providing some support and reference for students' learning and teachers' teaching work. This study analyzes the current situation of financial education for non-finance majors through literature analysis, sorting out the current situation of financial education for non-finance majors, education methods, etc.,clarifying the game characteristics and design strategies of simulation games and theoretical foundations, analyzing the feasibility of its application in financial education for non-finance majors, and selecting simulation board games as the game type designed in this study, choosing contextual learning and experiential learning models as the theoretical basis for subsequent research. The theoretical basis of this study is the contextual learning and experiential learning models.Through analysis the existing educational board game design process,a board game design process for measuring financial literacy of non-finance majors was constructed.Based on the "China Financial Literacy Education Standard Framework(University)"(the "Education Framework")promulgated by the China Financial Literacy Education Collaborative Innovation Center(the "Innovation Center"),suitable teaching contents are selected, knowledge points are extracted and transformed into the game content of the measurement tool. The game content of the board game is combined with the design rules and game process of the educational game, and through usability testing, the shortcomings of the board game are identified and the design is continuously iterated. Finally, through design validation, the students were divided into a control group and an experimental group by using non-finance undergraduates as the experimental subjects, and cross-referencing the test scores of the writing examination of the two groups,as well as their financial behavior during the process of playing the board game, which was used to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the board game.It was verified that the contextual environment of the educational board game provided learners with the opportunity to simulate practice, solving the problem of traditional paper-and-pencil tests focusing on theoretical knowledge and making it difficult to test procedural knowledge, and thus effectively measuring learners' financial literacy.
