Research On The Influencing Factors Of College Students' Financial Literacy In Shaanxi Province

In recent years,the university students' personal and economic damage cases caused by frequent university student financial fraud have attracted extensive attention from many experts and governments at all levels,which shows that the financial literacy of Chinese college students needs to be improved urgently.Universities and colleges undertake the education and management responsibilities of college students,shoulder the responsibility of leading university students to lead and grow services,and have the responsibility to implement actions in popularizing financial education,promoting financial knowledge,and improving college students' financial literacy.Taking the college students in Shaanxi Province as the research object,this paper systematically analyzes the factors that influence the financial literacy of college students on the basis of relevant literature research and field research.In this paper,firstly,according to the actual situation of college students in Shaanxi Province,the definition of financial literacy of college students is set and the measurement standards are set.Secondly,using the data of 535 college students financial literacy in Shaanxi Province,a multi-linear regression analysis is used to analyze the financial situation of college students in Shaanxi Province.The influencing factors of literacy;and finally,to further study the differences in the factors of financial literacy among undergraduates of different major types,genders,and household types,and to propose countermeasures and suggestions.The results show that:(1)The average level of financial literacy among college students in Shaanxi Province is at a good level,but its financial knowledge level is relatively poor.(2)The four factors of the importance of financial education,the acceptance of financial education in schools,the satisfaction of personal economic conditions,and the degree of interest in financial knowledge have significant effects on the financial literacy of college students.(3)The degree of awareness of the importance of financial education,the degree of financial education received,the degree of economic satisfaction,the level of financial knowledge and interest,the highest degree of education of parents,the type of specialty,and academic factors have a significant positive effect on financial knowledge.(4)The six factors of gender,family economic status,financial knowledge and interest level,personal monthly expenditure,awareness of the importance of financial education,and personal economic status satisfaction have a significant impact on the level of financial behavior of college students.(5)The financial literacy of female college students,non-financial and economics majors,and rural registered college students is relatively low.Therefore,this paper puts forward the policy recommendations of census college students' financial literacy,popularizing financial knowledge popularization education,strengthening practice education,and so on,in order to improve college students' financial literacy.
