With the advent of the era of intelligent information technology,computational thinking is getting more and more attention,and China's "Teaching Information Technology in General High School(2017 Edition)" proposes computational thinking as a core competency of information technology subjects,a core competency that students must continuously improve,and various countries around the world have done research on how to promote computational thinking in various aspects,which shows the importance of computational thinking.This study focuses on the teaching case design and practice of how to develop computational thinking based on the PBL(problem-based learning)model,and the following aspects have been done.This study first analyzes the theoretical and empirical studies on "problem-based learning" and "computational thinking" at home and abroad through literature research method,and then points out the shortcomings of traditional classroom teaching,such as neglecting the main position of students and filling-in teaching.In the second part of the study,we point out the shortcomings of traditional classroom teaching,such as neglecting students' subjective status and filling in the classroom.Based on the design-based research method,the first round of research was conducted in the first-year IT classroom of S High School to summarize the problems of teaching and learning,and on this basis to build a teaching framework to promote students' computational thinking.The second round was to implement a teaching case designed according to the current teaching situation in S high school,etc.A quasi-experimental research method was used to empirically test this study by means of questionnaires and interviews.It is expect that it will have a positive effect on current secondary school IT classroom teaching practices and effectively promote the development of students' computational thinking skills.This study mainly adopts literature research method,questionnaire survey method and quasi-experimental method to conduct the research.This paper mainly includes five parts: research background and significance,relevant concepts and theories,teaching design according to the actual situation,verification of teaching design and evaluation reflection.Several innovations of this paper are to explore a new teaching design for the current situation of cultivating students' computational thinking ability in high school IT classroom,to design a teaching case of problem-based learning to promote the cultivation of high school students' computational thinking,and to practice and analyze it.
