With the rapid development of the game industry,the games have become more and more complicated and have been updated frequently.With the diversity and mobility of the internet,games specially for mobile platform have sprung up.In this circumstance,only those game developers who can development quickly,change fast and have the ability to apply new features to the players rapidly may have dominant in the game industry.The game platform is becoming varied,in order to run the games on the dominant platforms,the traditional development mode is to develop a number of projects in different platforms.However,this outdated way is not only inefficient,but also needs consistency of multi-platforms.On the other hand,with the flourish of the game industry,increasingly importance has been attached to the quality of the games.Nowadays,the size of installation package is constantly increasing and any requirement change of the game may result in reinstalling the whole game package.In view of the above problems,we develop a scripted UI framework based on unity3D and Lua.By using unity3D engine,the same game can be released on different platforms.Besides,Lua helps games support hot update.The framework combines many advanced technology and methods such as the pattern of software development,software design principles and script development,which ensure the stability,efficiency and scalability of the framework.To a certain extent,the efficiency of UI system development is greatly promoted by using the framework.
