Research On The Construction Of Couriers Media Image From The Perspective Of Frame Theory

As the industrial workers in the new economy,the number of couriers has exceeded one million,which has made great contribution to the development of our country’s express delivery industry.This paper compares the news of People’s Daily Online and Sina Net from October 2018 to October 2019,and finds that the media image of couriers on People’s Daily Online is more positive,showing the characteristics of hard work and struggle,while on Sina Net,the image is more comprehensive and complex,but the negative image is more prominent.In terms of news sources,the credibility and credibility of the people’s Daily Online is much higher than that of Sina Net.In terms of reporting position,people’s Daily Online is more fair and objective,while negative position on Sina Net is more prominent.Using the theory of the news frame to further analyze the news text,it is found that the people’s Daily Online’s news frame is more obvious in the high-level topic frame level,and the positive topic is more obvious,and the policy and people’s livelihood guarantee is often used.The choice of characters and events has a strong publicity,and the language style is rigorous and accurate,the word that appears frequently includes "struggle "," safeguard" and so on.While on Sina Net,the high-level topic frame are more negative,and appears more words such as "hard work" and "crime ",and the language style of emotion,individualization and entertainment is prominent.In the use of pictures,less attention to privacy protection,lack of humanity.But there are problems in both of them,the outstanding problems of people’s Daily Online are the lack of individualization of characters and the lack of media image of female couriers,the problems of Sina Net are that the news framework also shows stronger news bias,and the non-parallel effect of the media will affect the public’s image cognition and professional identity of the couriers,to a certain extent,and then form a broad social bias.In the process of reporting news,the media and journalists will be affected by various factors from various organizations,ideas and society inside and outside the news organization.It is these factors that make the choice and production of the news framework different,and then present The media image is also different.
