With the rapid development of the broadband market,people’s demand for bandwidth continues to grow.The original GPON/EPON access can not meet the business needs of users.10GPON technology will gradually replace the existing EPON and GPON.In this context,access network planning seems very necessary.At present,the access network planning is carried out according to the following steps:First,according to the types of users in the region,business characteristics,the user penetration rate,service penetration rate,annual growth rate in the region,the operators measure future users and bandwidth usage in the region.Then,compare with the current network resources,find out the nodes that need to be planned and constructed,and finally upgrade according to the "Planning Guidance".There are several problems with this access network planning:(1)Lag of planning;(2)Fuzzy user characteristics;(3)Programmatic generation of planning plan.This article focuses on these issues,analyzes the characteristics of users,conducts in-depth research on the upgrade status discrimination of PON ports and changes in user service packages,and builds an access network planning platform.After analyzing the impact of different user characteristics on the PON port upgrade status,this paper introduces the K-means++ clustering algorithm to group the data according to the feature cluster,and then classifies each group of data based on a classifier.The effect of improving the accuracy of discrimination and saving running time is realized.In the study of user package changes,the actual bandwidth used by a single user with different bandwidth packages is calculated based on linear regression At the same time,the number of future users is calculated by calculating the user package transition probability,and combined with the characteristics of the user,an algorithm for estimating the bandwidth of the PON port and OLT based on the change of the user package is given Comparing the results without user characteristics,the error between the user bandwidth and the actual value calculated using the corresponding characteristics is smaller,and the total bandwidth error of a single PON port is 1.08Mb/s.Finally,an access network planning platform is established to realize the programmatic generation of access network planning.The PON and the uplink ports that need to be upgraded are allocated an appropriate upgrade plan according to the equipment status,and the results were as expected.
