Bibliometric Analysis Of Visualization Research In The Field Of Library And Information In China

In the field of library and information,the research of visualization has received more and more attention from researchers.It can be said that visualization is a new research method and direction in the field of library and information.With the development of visualization in the field of library and information in our country,a large number of important research results have been produced.At present,all research on the development of visualization is still small relatively,which is not conducive for researchers to understand the application status and evolution characteristics of visualization technology and methods in the field of library and information in our country.Therefore,this paper uses bibliometrics to comb and analyze the research results related to visualization in the field of library and information in our country,and put forward corresponding suggestions accordingly.This article uses CNKI as the data source,and restricts the subject categories to "library information and digital library" and "archives and museums" to ensure that the research object is in the field of library and information,and uses "visualization" as the main search term for the subject,Searching for title and keywords,combined with manual screening,obtained 1,784 research articles of this paper.Extract analysis units from1,784 documents,such as publication year,author,institution,keywords,etc,clean and organize related units and merge synonyms,comprehensively use mathematical statistics,high-frequency word analysis,co-occurrence analysis,and knowledge graphs Bibliometrics-related methods such as analytical methods analyze the temporal and spatial distribution,main body,and content of visualized literature in the field of library and information in our country.With the help of citespace and ucinet software,the research results are presented in a knowledge map and then analyzed in detail.After analysis,the development of visualization in the field of library and information in my country reflects the following characteristics: 1.Since the birth of visualization-related research,the volume of publications has been increasing,and it is still in a rapid growth stage.2.The literature is mainly published in professional journals in this field,with the most published articles in "Information Science" and "Modern Intelligence";Wuhan University,University of Chinese Academy of Sciences and Nanjing University are representative research institutions in this field.3.Professors Zhao Rongying and Qiu Junping of Wuhan University are representative figures in this field.4.The cooperation between authors and institutions is affected by regional factors.5.Research hotspots mainly focus on the application of visualization methods and visualization tools,the realization of visualization technology,and the use of visualization methods to study hot topics.There is a trend of shifting to the development of computer technology,focusing on its own research in the field of library and information.Based on the research results,this article finally puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions,hoping to provide reference for library and information researchers in subsequent research,so that visualization technology can play a more important role in future research,so as to promote the development of library and information science in China.
