China and Vietnam are surrounded by mountains and rivers,and both belong to the Han cultural circle.An East Asian cultural community based on Chinese culture was formed in the ancient Chinese character and Confucian cultural circle,which had a profound impact on Vietnam.Vietnam-China relations entered a new history on January 18,1950.It was an important milestone in China-Vietnam relations.New China was the first country to establish diplomatic relations with the Democratic Republic of Vietnam(now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam).It was marked the 70 th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Vietnam in 2020.In the past 70 years,despite the ups and downs between China and Vietnam,friendship and cooperation are still important relations.It was nurtured by Chairman Mao Zedong and Chairman Ho Chi Minh as well as generations of leaders of the two countries.It has become a valuable common asset of the two peoples,helps maintain the stable development of the traditional friendship between China and Vietnam,and brings practical benefits to the two peoples.During the period,the two peoples stood side by side,gave each other valuable support and help,and contributed to the success of the revolution and the national liberation and socialist construction of the two countries.Later,Vietnam and China experienced brothers,competitors,The relationship between enemies,competition and partners.The tendency of mainstream Vietnamese media to report in the fields of politics,economy,diplomacy,military,science and technology,culture,and health is to express the opinions and attitudes of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the State’s leadership,and to play the role of mainstream media’s public opinion guidance.Therefore,"Báo Nhan Dan "("Nhandan"),as the mainstream media of Vietnam,plays a pivotal role in reporting the image of other countries.With the increasing international status and influence of China,how does the official Vietnamese media "Nhandan" view China’s image? At present,there is little research on the image of China in the Vietnamese academic circles.Therefore,few people pay attention to the issue of Vietnam’s attitude to the“Image of China”.Chinese scholars and Vietnamese scholars are more concerned Research from the perspectives of the two countries’ government relations,nongovernmental cultural exchanges,economy and trade,history and culture.As China gradually moves toward the center of the world stage and launches "The Belt and Road Initiative",China’s borders are getting wider and wider,and the exchanges between China and the countries along the route are deepening.Vietnam’s perception of the "Image of China" has become an issue of increasing concern.Based on the framework theory,this research analyzes the content of "Nhandan" reporting on China from 2013 to 2020,and understands the Vietnamese media’s perception of China’s image from the three dimensions of spiritual,material and institutional elements.Face up to the relationship between the two countries with a fair and objective attitude;this research is based on the content of "Nhandan" reporting on China,exploring the perception of China’s image in the political and world pages of "Nhandan",combining data analyze based on the ideas of communication and computer science,and conduct research on the characteristics of China’s cognition by the "Nhandan",and face the relationship between the two countries with a fairer and more objective attitude.According to the research show,the main cognition of the "Image of China" in the "Nhandan" column of "Domestic Politics and Global Politics " in Vietnam is that China and Vietnam have close exchanges between the two Parties and the two countries.China’s economic development has potential but is uneven.Vietnam is highly sensitive to China’s issues in the South China Sea.In general,"Nhandan" has a positive,objective and neutral attitude towards Sino-Vietnamese relations,China’s economic,cultural and people’s exchanges.
