A Study On The Influence Of The Prosocial Behavior Message On Audience’s Empathy

The rapid social change and economic development in China have aggravated the emergence of many social problems,and the outbreak of COVID-19 has brought a huge crisis to the life safety and psychological construction of all members of the society,and spawned many new contradictions and problems.In order to ease social tension and spread positive energy,the official media,business organizations and professional institutions have created a large number of works showing positive values.However,continuously reported "guizhou bus drop lake incident" "changzhou pupil jumpers" "Gou Jing college entrance examination be replace" such as "hangzhou kill his wife" negative malignant events,thus stimulate the accumulation of social rage,negative emotions,such as social panic and tense atmosphere,these negative emotions continue to induce gradually enlarge the gap between social members,alienation,differentiation,So that part of the social members into emotional alienation,low co-affective state.In view of the current emotional alienation among some members of the society,the reality of the weakening of mutual affection.This research take the perspective of narrative,the cross of the psychology theory and the empathy of public information dissemination effect as the research object,using experimental research,content analysis and other research methods,collecting the relevant welfare empathy response information content,and then build a model of mathematical statistics,analysis of the current public information contained in the empathy factor and individual accessibility to the role of the relationship between empathy,Focusing on exploring how to improve the empathic transmission power of public welfare information and strengthen the emotional connection among members of society,this paper puts forward relevant suggestions for the future dissemination of public welfare information content,and strategically realizes the wider and longer term impact of public welfare information.The results showed that some of the factors in five levels,namely,basic information stimulation,emotional infection,empathic concern,point of view selection,and cognitive and emotional evaluation,had significant positive effects on individual empathy.Among them,(1)Narrative completion and narrative change can have a positive impact on individual empathy by shaping the plot and atmosphere in the public welfare information.(2)The shaping technique of character affinity can significantly affect the sense of empathic distance between individuals and characters and strengthen individual empathy through the shaping of character images in public welfare information.(3)The degree of stereotype and application of innovative forms of public welfare information will inhibit the empathy of the audience.(4)Compared with the presentation of negative emotions,the presentation of positive emotions in the content of public welfare information has a significant impact on the level of individual empathy,which can stimulate individual empathy by mobilizing individual emotions and enhancing empathy concern.(5)The degree of the altruistic person’s predicament,the degree of the altruistic object’s predicament,the altruistic related personal characteristics and behavioral characteristics have significant effects on the individual’s level of empathy,but the direction of the effects is positive and negative;The positive influence of altruism has a strong positive and significant effect on the level of individual empathy.(6)The presentation of the altruistic path of the characters in the content of public welfare information has a significant positive impact on the level of individual empathy,which can enhance the individual’s cognition and understanding of the characters,and further deepen the individual’s empathy.(7)The emptiness of public welfare information has a significant negative impact on the level of individual empathy,which will inhibit individual empathy.Based on the above research conclusions,this study continues to explore the reasons why these public welfare information factors influence the level of empathy,and also puts forward relevant suggestions for the effective dissemination of public welfare information in the future.
