Research On Scenarized Health Information Service Of Public Library For Elderly Users

Currently,there are more than 250 million people aged 60 or above in China,accounting for 18.13% of the total population.As the elderly pay more and more attention to health,how to better protect their physical and mental health and how to obtain effective health information are also increasingly paid attention to by the elderly.Public libraries,as the authoritative institutions that provide information to the public,carry out health information services due to their advantages,which can help elderly users to obtain accurate information and make rational use of the acquired health information,and improve their ability and accomplishment in identifying reliable information channels and information.However,the development time of health information service in public libraries is relatively short,so it is the main problem of this paper to study how public libraries should provide health information service matching with the needs of elderly users.According to the main research problem,this thesis will combine the scenario theory in-depth analysis of older users demand scenarios.With older users and the scenes as foothold,match out application scenarios according to the requirements,and suggest for improvement under different scenarios for the service,in order to improve the ability of public library in health information services and the health of older users information literacy.The first part of this paper is the introduction,which narrates the background and significance of the topic,the ideas and methods of research and the innovation points.The second part clarifies the relevant concepts in the study,and sorts out the domestic and foreign research status of health information behavior of elderly users,public library health information service and scenario-based service.The third part mainly uses the literature survey method to further analyze the elderly users’ needs for health information services by combing the relevant literature and materials.Thefourth part uses case analysis,which extracts the scenario-oriented services provided by public libraries,and matches different use scenarios according to the needs of elderly users in the last chapter.The fifth part puts forward the corresponding improvement suggestions for the public library according to different use scenarios.The sixth part summarizes the whole paper and looks forward to the development direction of public library health information service.
