In recent years,the security of information in the process of transmission and storage has become extremely important.At first,the researchers proposed to use encryption technology to protect secret information,aiming at the problem that the encrypted messy and disordered ciphertext is easy to attract the attention of attackers,the researchers proposed to use information hiding technology to protect the security of secret information.Information hiding technology is mainly divided into two stages:embedding secret information and extracting secret information,the algorithm effect of the two stages is measured according to the embedding rate and peak signal-to-noise ratio.In this thesis,the existing SMSD image information hiding algorithm is researched,and improved on the basis of it,on the premise of ensuring good carrier image quality,increase the embedding capacity of information hiding.The main research contents are as follows:(1)This thesis summarizes the basic concepts of information hiding technology,and the main models,characteristics and uses are summarized.At the same time,the embedding phase and extraction phase of the existing image information hiding algorithm is deeply understood and integrated,and analyze the advantages and disadvantages of these algorithms,take these disadvantages as the breakthrough point to optimize and improvement,so as to make relevant preparations for the algorithm proposed in this thesis.(2)In order to improve the embedding capacity of information hiding,this thesis proposes an improved algorithm based on SMSD image information hiding algorithm to increase the amount of data hiding in unit pixels.In a group of n-pixel carrier images,the data capacity of SMSD information hiding algorithm is T_n,in which all data can be generated by SMSD representation.In this thesis,an enhanced SMSD representation EMSD is obtained by modifying the SMSD representation.In the case of a certain carrier pixel n,by finding Mn(Mn>Tn)consecutive integers can be generated by EMSD representation,so as to improve the embedding capacity of information hiding.Finally,the improved algorithm is proved by mathematical induction and experiments,the results show that compared with the SMSD algorithm,the improved algorithm can further improve the embedding capacity of information hiding on the premise that there is no obvious difference between the steganographic image and the carrier image.(3)Aiming at the existing segmented information hiding algorithm,in this thesis,based on SMSD information hiding algorithm and improved algorithm,a segmented information hiding algorithm is proposed.The n-pixel carrier image is divided into two sub-pixel groups,and the secret information is replaced by two integers and embedded into two sub-pixel groups respectively.The experimental results show that the idea of segmentation can further improve the embedding capacity,and the embedding capacity of the improved SMSD information hiding algorithm using segmentation idea is higher.
