| The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region,with its concentrated innovation resources and advantageous geographical location,is home to a large number of universities and research institutes,and has the inherent advantages of conducting cross-regional basic research cooperation.Deepening Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei cross-regional cooperation in basic research is an important way to implement the national basic research development strategy.This thesis takes the web of science database as the data source and 13 cities in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region as the research objects.Firstly,by using the data of co-authored theses,the thesis analyzes the cooperation status,network evolution and characteristics of cross-regional basic research in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.The thesis finds that the overall development trend of cross-regional basic research cooperation in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region is good,but the problems of uneven resource distribution and low cooperation intensity are still prominent.And through social network analysis,it is found that with the construction of transportation infrastructure and the development of transportation tools,the barriers formed by spatial distance in cooperation are being broken down gradually.When cities have some similar attributes,they are more inclined to carry out cooperation.Based on the above discussion,this thesis,from the perspective of multidimensional proximity,explores the factors influencing the performance of cross-regional basic research cooperation,and draws the following conclusions:Firstly,cognitive proximity and geographical proximity are still important factors to improve the performance of cross-regional basic research cooperation,and the positive effect of institutional proximity is not obvious.Secondly,the proximity of time distance and space distance in geographical proximity can promote the performance improvement of cross-regional basic research cooperation positively,but the effect of space distance proximity is less than that of time distance.Thirdly,the effects of cognitive proximity and time distance proximity on the cooperative performance of cross-regional basic research are complementary.Based on the above conclusions,this thesis puts forward specific countermeasures and suggestions to promote the strong development of cross-regional basic research cooperation in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.This study is conducive to the diagnosis of common problems in the region,to tap the potential of scientific research cooperation,and to promote the development of basic research cooperation.At the same time,it can further enrich and expand the theory of multidimensional proximity,and provide theoretical reference for the future study of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei cross-regional cooperation. |
