Optimization Design Research On User Experience Of The Elderly APP Based On Kano–CA Model

The rapid development of mobile internet has led to the abundant emergence of mobile APPs.The degree of ageing population is high in China and more and more old people are starting to get in touch with and use mobile APPs.Thus,how to improve the old people's user experience of using mobile APPs and let the elderly enjoy the benefits brought by the development of the Internet is an urgent problem to be considered.As a special group,different age groups with different life forms have different user needs,therefore,how to transform the perceptual user needs into product design requirements to improve the user experience of the elderly has become an urgent problem to be solved.This study proposed an optimization design method for user experience of elderly apps based on Kano-CA Model.Firstly,through the investigation and analysis of the life style of the elderly,the elderly was refined into three clusters using factor analysis and cluster analysis: fashion elderly cluster,efficient elderly cluster and conservative elderly cluster.The Kano model was use to classify the user needs of different clusters and adjust their weights.Through literature research and analysis of the existing APP design patterns,eight design patterns were determined and 18 sets of elderly APP prototypes were designed by orthogonal experiment method.The user experience experiment was conduct based on user experience evaluation system.Then the relationship model between user experience and design pattern was established based on Kano-CA method and it was also used to optimize the elderly APPs.Finally,the optimal patterns of combination design was determined according to user experience,and the rationality and effectiveness of the experimental results were also verified.Taking the user needs of the elderly with different lifestyles into consideration,the optimization design research method on user experience of the elderly apps was proposed in this paper.The design of elderly APP based on questionnaire survey and data analysis can improve the user experience of the elderly.In addition,the relationship model between user experience and design pattern constructed by combination analysis method can effectively obtain the relative importance and horizontal utility value of the design pattern which can affect the user experience preference,so as to obtain the optimal app design combination mold and provide reference for later research.
