Social Anxiety In Social Media Use Among Young People

Nowadays,social media has become an indispensable part of People’s Daily life.In the process of using social media,users can not only participate in the discussion of social public affairs,but also create their own social media communication groups to further improve their interpersonal relationship.Social media has changed the previous form of face-to-face communication between people,broken through the previous time and space restrictions,and created a new way of communication.But at the same time,it also brings about social anxiety in social media use.For example,privacy anxiety,negative evaluation anxiety,sharing content anxiety and interaction anxiety.As the main force of social media,the youth group is trapped in the process of using social media.This paper will take the youth group,the main group of social media users,as the main research object,to study the current situation of social anxiety of youth groups in the use of social media,explore the influencing factors of social anxiety of youth groups in the use of social media,and finally put forward the corresponding solutions,in order to realize the benign interaction between people and technology.In terms of research methods,this paper adopts questionnaire survey method to study the current situation of social anxiety of young people in the use of social media,and adopts questionnaire survey method to study the influencing factors of social anxiety of young people in the use of social media,in order to get more profound and sincere answers.Firstly,this paper expounds the urgency and necessity of this research,and defines the concepts of social media,social anxiety,and social anxiety in social media.Secondly,a questionnaire was issued to young people to summarize the status quo of social anxiety in the use of social media by young people,including demographic differences in social anxiety,differences in the process of social media use and differences in four aspects of social anxiety.Thirdly,23 young people were randomly selected for in-depth interviews.Based on the rooted theory,the coding was analyzed,and it was learned that the main causes of social anxiety were social environment,individual factor,technical factor,social division and social environment.Finally,corresponding measures are put forward according to the reasons.
