| With the rapid development of display technology,people have higher and higher requirements for liquid crystal display effects.High resolution and high contrast image display has gradually become the key research direction of the industry.The liquid crystal display is a passive display.The liquid crystal itself does not emit light.It needs a backlight to provide light.The final display effect of the liquid crystal display has a very large relationship with the performance of the backlight.Therefore,it is very important to design a high-performance backlight.At present,the existing LCD backlight is limited by the size of the LED lamp beads and the driving scheme.The number of LED backlight zones is generally small,basically within a few hundred zones.The generated backlight often cannot fully reflect the brightness characteristics of the entire image,so lead to poor visual effects of the displayed image.In order to improve the display effect of liquid crystal,this thesis proposes the use of Mini LED as the backlight source of liquid crystal display,and analyzes the advantages and challenges of Mini LED as the backlight source.This article also briefly introduces the working principles and characteristics of LCD imaging technology,and summarizes the development process of LCD backlights and the advantages and disadvantages of different backlights.The dynamic zone dimming and static zone dimming have been comprehensively analyzed and researched,and the advantages and disadvantages of the two technologies and how to choose are discussed in depth.This article focuses on the design of the Mini LED backlight dynamic scanning control method.It analyzes the overall architecture of the system and the layout of the backlight,to the realization of the hardware circuit,and analyzes the difficulties encountered in the design process and the solution is explained.At the same time,the prototype system of Mini LED TV,the debugging of the screen,the contrast test and the actual test of the screen display effect are explained.Mini LED as a backlight source can achieve more independent dimming partitions,with the number of partitions reaching thousands of partitions,or even tens of thousands of partitions,so as to achieve fine dynamic dimming of the backlight.The brightness information of the backlight can be effectively combined with the display image content,which greatly improves the image quality display effect and enhances the competitiveness of the product.In addition,the backlight can also be made thinner,and dimming can be realized in a short-distance light mixing range,thereby achieving ultra-thin,high-quality display characteristics and energy-saving terminal products.The dynamic scanning area dimming method has successfully solved the problems of a large number of constant current control ICs,a complex system,and a high cost when the TV backlight source has a large number of partitions.The backlight system design of other industries also has realistic reference significance. |
