Since the reform and opening-up,Chinese private museums have experienced three stages: initial stage,registration management stage and rapid development stage.The improvement of collection enthusiasm,the gathering of private capital,the support of laws and regulations,all become the favorable factors for the development of private museums.However,in the process of exploring and developing,private museums are still exposed to many problems,such as low threshold of setting up access system,unclear collection management,lack of professional management,shortage of professionals,etc.These problems make the "life cycle" of private museums short.At present,in the development of private museums in China,in addition to the private museums with comprehensive strength,the thematic museums of regional culture have become an important branch of private museums.This paper analyzes the current situation of the development of private museums in Hubei Province,and the thematic museums show a good development trend on the whole.Based on such background,this paper selected the Hubei province with local tea culture as the content of Chajing Tower museum case analysis,field investigation,the form of daily and annual operating in a non-participatory observation,conducted semi-structured interviews,summarized its management operation form.Based on the common problems of private museums,this paper compared the development of other museums of tea culture in the same region.From personnel,on the collection,management and brand strategy analysis,this paper summed up the pattern for the private museum.
