In the video conference system,the resource scheduling method of the Multipoint Control Unit(MCU)has an important influence on the audio and video quality of the video conference and the overall performance of the conference.It is one of the important challenges faced in the research and application of the video conference system.To improve the rationality of MCU resource scheduling and improve the quality of video conferences,this thesis takes the optimization of MCU resource scheduling method as the starting point to design and implement the MCU resource scheduling microservice for video conferences,including demand analysis,overall design,microservice design and implementation,testing.The main research work of the thesis is as follows.Firstly,based on the multi-objective characteristics of MCU resource scheduling,an efficient MCU resource scheduling method is proposed.The MCU resource load base is designed,which reflects the actual load situation of the MCU.In addition,the MCU resource media domain is constructed,and the location information of the MCU and the terminal is obtained with a relatively small computational cost.Under the premise of ensuring that the terminal successfully accesses the conference,the method reduces the audio and video forwarding delay of video conferences,efficiently utilizes MCU equipment resources,and make all MCU devices as much as possible to achieve a load-balanced state,by achieving the three goals of user to communication with the MCU nearby,MCU less cascading,and MCU load balancing.Secondly,the use of data caching technology and dual-system hot backup technology enhances the performance and reliability of microservices.By designing a local cache,the frequency of microservice access to cache and the database is reduced,and the response time of the microservice is reduced.Through the design of the main-standby switching mechanism,the fault tolerance of the microservice is enhanced.Finally,a microservice for MCU resource scheduling for video conferencing is implemented,and the effectiveness of the scheduling method is verified through experiments,and the functional testing,the stress test,and the reliability test are carried out.Experimental and test results shows that this microservice has good scheduling results,high availability,stability,and reliability.This microservice has been applied to the actual business of video conferencing.
