Power integrated circuit have certain power processing capabilities,and can also realize power control,signal processing and communication with the outside world,so it has been highly valued by the industry.As a research hotspot of power integrated circuits in the past ten years,the high-voltage gate driver chip is a bridge connecting the control signal and power devices,and its performance directly affects the stability of the entire application system,so the technical research on the high-voltage gate driver chip is particularly important.This thesis designs a high-voltage gate driver chip based on 1 ?m 600 V BCD process platform.The chip is compatible with two input modes of internal clock and external synchronization,and the oscillation frequency can be controlled by the size of capacitors and resistors;an adjustable dead-time module is added to the chip,and the dead-time can be changed by changing the size of the external resistor;in addition,the chip also has two protection modules: under-voltage protection and abnormal shutdown,which can ensure the chip shut down in time during abnormal operation.This thesis firstly investigates the research background and significance of highvoltage gate drive,and then analyzes the dead-time technology in detail,and proposes an adaptive dead-time structure.It uses the same-side detrction and feedback method,and the voltage dection,the current dection and the dynamic dead-time adjustment circuit make the dead-time change with the change of the load,which reduce the power consumption of the chip as much as possible while ensuring that the high and low side power tubes will not pass through.Then,the overall architecture of the chip is introduced,the design indicators are planned,and the working principle of the chip is described from the functions and signal transmission paths of each sub-module.Then,the important submodules of the chip are designed,simulated and analyzed,including oscillator module,input signal determination module,dead-time module,low-side first turn-on module,narrow pulse module,level shift module,driver module and protection module.Finally,the overall simulation of the chip is carried out.After the indicators are met,the layout drawing and post-imitation are carried out.From the introduction of electrical performance parameters to the construction of the test circuit to the analysis of the simulation results,the function of the chip is verified step by step.
