In recent years,Her “variety Show”,Which explores female topics and features female protagonists and main audiences,has become a dark horse in the domestic variety show industry.Its content form,production level,market effect and social repercussions have reached a new height,and it is widely welcomed by the market and audience.One of the well-known and influential brand programs is The sister who rides the Waves produced by Hunan Satellite TV.For the first time,it broke the boundaries of age,jumped out of the boundary of entertainment,presented and excavated the female media images in multiple ways,highlighted the significant characteristics of independent women in the new era,and reflected the social status quo of contemporary women to a certain extent.Its contemporary discussion of female value has influenced the audience’s cognition of female media image.This paper combines social gender theory,media gender theory and feminist narrative theory to explore the external representation and deep meaning of female media images in “Her variety show” represented by “Sister who Rides the Waves”.Firstly,it analyzes the presentation of female media images in the program and explores from what angles the female media images are presented in the program.Secondly,it analyzes the narrative mode used in the process of presenting female media images,so as to excavate the social consciousness and social value of metaphors in the program.Again,taking the program as the representative,the cultural interpretation of female media images in “her variety show” in recent years is carried out,and the influence of female media images on audience’s social cognition and behavior is analyzed.Finally,it summarizes the causes of female media images in “Her variety show” and reflects on the contradiction between the original intention and reality of the present female media image presentation.The research holds that the female media images created and presented in “Her variety show”are influenced by multiple factors such as times,audiences and business,and its image creation and value output have their own rules and unique advantages,which meet the aesthetic and emotional needs of audiences to a certain extent,focus on social topics and deliver humanistic care.However,due to the influence of capital and excessive catering to hot topics,it still has a lot of room for improvement in the correction of media image and the guidance of social and cultural value.From this perspective,is not only “Her variety show” and other types of variety show should be in accordance with industry standards,constantly innovate,improve quality of the production,mining the unique connotation,service society,further play about the social function of style,taste,the responsibility,pay attention to the value guidance,can have a longer life.
