In the process of modernization,with the change of rural social structure and the change of people's values,the stable marriage and family structure in traditional Chinese rural society is also showing the characteristics of increasing diversification,and the number of children in single-parent families in rural areas is increasing due to unmarried childbirth,divorce,widoving and other reasons.The survey found that,compared with the general family children,rural single-parent family children have a higher probability of academic difficulties,the degree of academic difficulties is more serious.The academic difficulties of children in rural single-parent families have become the main factor affecting the healthy growth of children in rural single-parent families.This study around the "dilemma" rural single-parent families children studies the core theme,based on the theory of ecological system theory and so on,through the methods of case study,analysis of the specific difficulties in rural single-parent families children's academic performance and causes,discusses using the case of its academic working mode to improve service path,to help the implementation of normal learning and life.The results show that the children's academic difficulties in rural single-parent families are mainly as follows: poor academic performance and a significant decline trend;Ostracized by peer groups in their studies;The mental pressure is bigger three aspects.The main reasons for the difficulties of rural single-parent family children are their lack of interest in learning,the lack of family education support function,school education concept and education mode,etc.The study selected typical cases and formulated service plans according to the circumstances of the cases: specific service intervention was carried out from three aspects: the client himself,the family and the school.In the process of service,measures such as stimulating learning motivation,improving parent-child relationship and building social support network are adopted to help the clients to improve their academic difficulties.Finally,on the basis of case work intervention,this paper puts forward some relevant suggestions to solve the difficulties of rural single-parent family children's study.First,pay attention to the cultivation of rural single-parent family children's learning interest and ability;Second,pay attention to improve parent-childrelationship,perfect single parent family education support function;Third,strengthen social support,including the development of rural school social work,strengthen community mutual support and the construction of social support system.
