side,which gives us a new perspective.In this paper,the defense situation of France in all 7 matches in Russia World Cup is analyzed from the Angle of individual defense technique and team defense tactics,using the method of literature,video observation,mathematical statistics and logical analysis.The results are as follows:1.France has a very strong back line,the whole tournament France only conceded six goals.In addition,France captain goalkeeper Lori played very steady throughout the tournament,to ensure the safety of France's goal.But most of the players in the French team have the disadvantage that the success rate of grabbing the ball is not high.Teams at this World Cup have been more pragmatic,with many playing on counter-attacks and relying more on counter-attacks and training of blocking and grabbing the ball,to make up for the shortcomings.5.Using SPSS chi-square test to conduct statistical test on individual defensive technique structure and position structure,the following conclusions are drawn:blocking and grabbing the ball are the weak points of right guard Pawar(P0.029<0.05);Tackling technique is the weakness of Umtiti(P=0.000<0.01),Varane(P=0.000<0.01)and Kanter(P=0.000<0.01).The head scramble and blocking technique were the weak points of Matuidi(P=0.000<0.01).Bouncing,breaking and tackling are the weaknesses of Pogba(P=0.011<0.05).Targeted improvements should be made in the future.6.Frontcourt forced respectively using SPSS correlation test to analysis the success rate and gradually retreat defense success rate,dense success rate and the number of goals,by shooting times,was shot in the frame range the relevance to the relevant conclusions are as follows: the number of frontcourt forced defensive success rate and the number of goals,by shooting times,shot is no significant correlation between the number;The success rate of gradual retreat defense has no significant correlation with the number of goals scored,but has significant correlation with the number of shots shot and on target.That is to say,the higher the success rate of gradual retreat defense is,the lower the number of shots shot and on target.The success rate of dense defense is significantly correlated with the number of goals scored,the number of shots shot and the number of shots on target,that is,the higher the success rate of dense defense is,the lower the number of goals scored,the number of shots shot and the number of shots on target.7.An analysis of France's six goals conceded revealed that three of them were directly or indirectly caused by free kicks.After analyzing the reasons for France's six goals,it was found that three goals were directly or indirectly caused by players' absentmindedness in defense or their mentality after taking the lead,one goal was due to insufficient response,and one goal was due to insufficient preparation for the opponent's tactical free kick.
