An Exploratory Research On The Issue Of Unsupported Children’s Guardianship By Social Work Intervention

As a vulnerable group in society,the government has paid great attention to the social welfare and the protection of rights and interests of children.On June 18,2019,the Ministry of Civil Affairs issued "about further strengthens the fact no one raising children security work opinion",this is the first time the government documents no one clear fact that the connotation of raising children,in the form of the file at the same time to safeguard object,process,safeguard measures and so on to make detailed elaboration,make the facts without raising children’s rescue,protection and the policy basis.In fact,there are many types of guardianship of unsupported children,including intergenerational guardianship,relative guardianship and state guardianship.Studies have shown that there are problems such as poor quality of life,poor academic performance and psychological difficulties.This paper mainly studies how case work can serve the guardianship problem of virtually unattended children in their growth process,improve the adverse situation brought by insufficient family and community guardianship for children,and provide a relatively healthy growth environment for virtually unattended children.With the help of ecosystem theory and social support theory,this paper analyzes the guardianship problems faced by the client,solves the dilemma of the client around the construction of the system and the improvement of community support,and explores the role of social work in this problem field.It is found that the client is faced with the challenge of insufficient guardianship from both family and community,which has a direct impact on the client’s economy,life,education and continuous guardianship.In view of the guardianship problem,social workers use the method of case work to intervene in the family system and the neighborhood community system of the client to improve the guardianship status of the family system and the neighborhood community system of the actual unsupported children,and draw the following conclusions: Social work plays a significant role in filling the gap in the fact that there is no one to support children in custody.The task-centered mode can help clients quickly solve the current thorny problems,especially the economic difficulties,according to the problems themselves and environmental factors.In the end,the article puts forward some suggestions to improve the actual unsupported children’s guardianship: to establish a sound grass-roots children’s service system through multi-party linkage,and to ensure long-term service,and to truly implement all policies,services and activities to children.
