The Research On The Coverage Of Female Role Models In People's Daily And Their Value In The Early Period Of People's Republic Of China

Role models are the visible philosophy.Female role models are the best models for most of women on their way to growth and success.Since the founding of the People's Republic of China,Chinese women have played a great role in all aspects of the socialist construction and have made indelible contributions to the construction of the People's Republic of China.From 1949 to1956,the People's Daily reported a large number of exploits of female role models who loved the Party and the country,and were down-to-earth and hardworking to guide the thoughts and behaviors of female readers,and helped the Party leading women to better achieve their own liberation and also played a role in promoting the Party and government to stimulate women groups to participate in the construction of the People's Republic of China.Taking the reports of People's Daily from 1949 to 1956 as the research material,and based on the textual content of female role model reports in the early days of the founding of the People's Public of China,this paper analyzes and studies the methods,characteristics and values of female role model reports in this period.Firstly,the author combs the basic theories of role models,broadens the theoretical horizon and builds the basis of research in the thesis,analyzes the development process of female role models from ancient times to before the founding of the People's Republic of China,and describes the social and historical background of the emergence of female role models in the early period of the founding of the People's Republic of China from three aspects: economic and social development,women's liberation movement and educational development.Secondly,through the data analysis method,the general situation of the People's Daily female role model reports is summarized.Based on the analysis of the People's Daily's reported text,it focuses on the deeds of seven types of female role models,including the heroic female warriors,the agricultural production models who could hold up“half of the sky”,the industrial labor models who dared to go outside home,the patriotic mothers who supported the army,the women who propagated the Party's policies,the hard-studied literacy models and leaders in other industries.The report content of four female role models,Tian Guiying,Liang Jun,Guo Junqing and Zhao Guilan were selected to analyze how carries out female role model education through news reports and set up female role models for the masses of women.Thirdly,the literature research method was used to generalize the specific ways and methods of reporting on female role models in People's Daily,and to summarize and condense the characteristics of the coverage of female role models in People's Daily.Finally,the historical impact and the basic experience of the coverage of female role models in People's Daily in the early period of the People's Republic of China are analyzed to provide realistic enlightenment for better implementation of female role models,and some suggestions are put forward,such as establishing a mechanism and system,scientifically selecting and setting female role models,adopting flexible and diversified publicity and education modes,creating an atmosphere that the whole society to respect women,etc.
