A Study Of Improving Resilience Of Migrant Children

With the continuous advancement of China's urbanization process,many parents of migrant children choose to bring their children to urban areas to seek a new life in order to enable their children to enjoy better teaching resources.Adapting to the new living environment is not a small test for migrant children who are still young in grade.They are not only facing greater academic pressure than other children groups,misunderstandings from their parents,isolation of the surrounding environment and maladjustment of living habits make their situation worse.Therefore,improving the learning and living ability and resilience of migrant children is of great significance to the healthy growth of migrant children.Changzhi J primary school is a private school for migrant children.The author is committed to providing help to the children here in the process of internship.In this intervention service,the author uses the advantage perspective theory to find the advantages of the case owner,and continuously strengthen the self-efficacy of the case owner in the process of case service,so as to finally improve the learning and living ability and resilience of the case owner.In the process of carrying out the service,the author adopted the Satya model.Through dialogue and training,the author improved the self-confidence of the case owner,improved the case owner's family relations,interpersonal skills and bad living habits,and finally put the case owner's study and life back on track.After evaluation,the author found that the problems faced by migrant children mainly stem from the pressure of the external environment and the lack of their own coping means.Using the advantage perspective theory and the practical method of Satya model,social workers can teach new skills to the case owner,improve the case owner's self-efficacy,reduce the negative impact of adverse events on the case owner and improve the case owner's psychological state,Finally,the goal of improving the resilience and learning and living ability of the case owner will be realized.
