| The phylogeograohic process and patterns of Sorex cylindricauda were examined using 1,779 bp mitochondrial genes,3,572 bp nuclear genes and 1024 bp Y chromosome genes of 77 individuals from 20 populations. Some biogeography methods have been applied to restrcture biogeography patterns of Sorex cylindricauda.Ecological niche model were adopted to reconstruct historical dispersal and distribution trends of Sorex cylindricauda. Some results for this study are as follow:(1)Significant genetic structure was strongly congruent with elevation, and total 2 independent Clades(Clade G and Clade H)were well supported based on mt DNA.However,it did not occur in nuclear genes and Y chromosome genes.(2)Molecular variance analyses revealed strong patterns of population structure that were consistent across maternal, paternal markers.Biparentally inherited marker’s molecular genetics revealed a common haplotype, which may be attributed to incomplete pedigree sorting or hybridization.(3)The divergence time was found between Sorex cylindricauda and its sister species in late pliocene, and in early pleistocene between Clade G and Clade H.(4)Species delimitation show that this two Clade are two incipient species, and elevation factor may be an important cause of species differentiation.(5)Population historical demography supported an ancient expansion scenario in two Clades.Further,Niche model results showed that distribution range of Sorex cylindricauda sharpenly changed in severe climate(LIG,LGM and Present). |
