| Under the background of economic globalization and integration,the world tourism industry has entered a stage of rapid development,and tourism development has become the focus of common concern at home and abroad.It not only brings the rapid growth of tourism economy,but also promotes the growth and concentration of regional economy.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the development characteristics of tourism.At present,China has gradually entered the "new normal" development stage of the economy,and the development of the tourism industry has also changed from focusing on the growth rate to focusing on the quality and efficiency of development.Improving total factor productivity is not only the core power to promote the sustainable development of tourism under the current new normal,but also the basic power to effectively guarantee the improvement of the quality of tourism development.Therefore,it is very important to analyze the basic trend of total factor productivity,master the main factors of total factor productivity,and promote the high-quality development of the tourism industry.This article summarizes the research status of domestic and international research on TFP in tourism industry and related methods.First,the DEA-Malmquist index method is used to construct a tourism TFP measurement model,analyze the changes and decomposition of tourism TFP in the tourism industry of China’s 31 provinces(autonomous regions,municipalities)from 2011 to2018,the results show that the improvement of the total factor productivity of China’s tourism industry comes from the improvement of the technology progress index and the pure technology efficiency index,of which the technology progress index has the largest contribution,it is the source of the improvement of TFP in China’s tourism industry,and the development of TFP in different regions varies greatly.Secondly,the seven categories of influencing factors of TFP of tourism industry are determined,and panel regression analysis is carried out on TFP of tourism industry.The per capita road area in cities,the greening rate of built-up areas,and the number of travel agencies have a positive impact on the total factor productivity of tourism,while the attraction of resources,fixed asset investment,the area of urban gardens and green spaces,and the number of tourism practitioners have reversed the total factor productivity of tourism influences.Finally,through the above studies,I have provided suggestions and suggestions for improving the total factor productivity of the tourism industry and promoting the high-quality development of the tourism economy from the aspects of capital utilization efficiency,infrastructure construction,personnel training,and technological upgrading. |
