| Purpose:To observe the effect of 8-week resistance exercise on the risk of eating disorder in female college students at high risk of eating disorder,and to compare the difference between different exercise time of day.Methods:The Eating Disorder Questionnaire-3(EDI-3)was used to screen out 60 female college students at high risk of eating disorders,and they were randomly divided into morning group,late afternoon group and control group,a total of 3 groups,each with 20 students.Their body weight,BMI,lean body mass,body fat mass,Fat%and other indicators were analyzed by the DXA method before the intervention.Then two groups had exercise for 8 weeks.During the intervention period,the morning and late afternoon groups started resistance exercise intervention at 9:00am and 5:00pm.60 minutes each time,once every other day,3 times a week,except for other forms of exercise arrangements;The control group maintained the original level of physical activity;all subjects maintained their daily diet basically unchanged.After an 8-weekintervention,EDI-3 was measured again on the subjects,and their body weight,BMI,lean body mass,body fat mass,Fat%and other indicators were analyzed again by the DXA method.The data will be analyzed between the groups and then the conclusion came out.Results:(1)Before the experiment,there was no significant difference in all indicators of the three groups(P>0.05);(2)Compared with the control group,the morning group and the late afternoon group had Bulimia(B),Body Dissatisfaction(BD)and Eating Disorder Risk Composite(EDRC)was significantly reduced,and the Drive for Thinness(DT)in the late afternoon group was significantly reduced(P>0.05);(3)Compared with the control group,the body fat mass and Fat%of the morning group and the late afternoon group were significantly reduced.Lean body mass increased significantly(P<0.05),body weight and BMI did not change significantly(P>0.05);(4)There was no significant difference between the morning group and the late afternoon group in the changes of the above indicators(P>0.05).Conclusion:(1)Morning and late afternoon resistance exercises can reduce the risk of eating disorders in female college students at high risk of eating disorders,change their bulimia behavior,reduce their body dissatisfaction,and late afternoon resistance exercise can also reduce their drive for thinness;(2)Morning and late afternoon resistance exercises can increase the lean body mass of female college students at high risk of eating disorders,improve its body composition,and the effect is consistent. |
