With the vigorous development of social economy in China,all provinces in the central region have firmly grasped the major opportunity of social and economic gradient development in China from east to west,and formed a new key growth pole for China’s economic and social development.Because there are great differences in geographical environment,urban economic infrastructure and political system environment among cities in the six provinces in central region,there will be great differences in the level of social and economic development among different cities.In order to help people more systematically and deeply study social and economic development among cities in the six provinces of central region,considering the influence of the spatial autocorrelation between the regional economies of various cities,this thesis explains the transformation of the types of urban development level and the change of urban spatial distribution pattern in the central region from a new perspective by using spatial Markov chain.Firstly,this thesis collects and preprocesses the multiple statistical index data of the economic development of each city in the six central provinces,and evaluates the development status of each city in the central region through the multi index statistical method of entropy weight method and TOPSIS model;Then,for the distribution of the comprehensive development level of cities in the central region,combined with the spatial analysis method,the comprehensive social and economic development of cities in the central region shows a gradient decline from south to north,and the distribution of urban social and economic development is uneven;Then,considering the comprehensive influence of time and space on the development of cities in the central region,this thesis analyzes the temporal and spatial evolution and distribution characteristics of the economic development level of cities in the six provinces in the central region by using the method of weighted spatial Markov chain,and further describes the temporal and spatial evolution law and development trend of cities in the six provinces in the central region,It is proved that the state level of comprehensive social and economic development of adjacent cities has a significant impact on the development and change of their own urban economy;After that,XGboost algorithm is used to analyze the importance of various indicators affecting urban development at all levels,deeply understand the characteristic indicators that have a significant impact on urban development at different socio-economic development levels,and provide a scientific and reasonable reference basis for the current development of cities at all levels.
