| In recent years,as more and more scientific fields need to explore the unknown underground, the demand for ground penetrating radar(GPR)has increased greatly. As a method of geophysical survey, the application range of ground penetrating radar has gradually become wider, including but not limited to glacier detection,non-detection inside roads, urban underground pipeline detection, archaeological detection and some military applications. The development of ground penetrating radar has been paid more and more attention by people.Under this background, the whole system of ground penetrating radar has been studied deeply in this paper.Combined with the development needs of the radar system, this paper takes the main body of the transmitter of the impulse ground penetrating radar, that is,the narrow pulse signal transmitter, the circuit system of the radar receiver, and the transceiver antenna as the research objects, and studies the transceiver circuit system of the impulse ground penetrating radar system. It analyzes and processes each module in the transceiver circuit, and completes the entire process of the pulse signal from transmission to acquisition, storage and analysis. The specific work of this paper is as follows: For the transmitting module of the ground penetrating radar system, the generation of the Pulse Width Modulation(PWM)wave as the trigger signal is firstly studied.Generation circuit, the maximum repetition frequency of the negative pulse generated by this circuit is 100 KHz,the half-peak pulse width is 0.6ns,and the amplitude is-234V;corresponding circuits are designed for its gain control, power amplification and other modules; In the antenna part, considering that the received and received signals are similar to Gaussian pulse signals, which are a kind of ultra-wideband signals,a horn antenna with an operating frequency range of 180 MHz to 1GHz is selected;for the receiving end of the ground penetrating radar, the real-time sampling scheme is used when determining Finally,a high-speed real-time sampling circuit and its peripheral circuits based on the HMCAD1520 chip are designed. The receiver supports a sampling rate of up to 1000 MSPS and a dynamic range of 48 d B.After completing the test of each sub-module of the ground penetrating radar system, two groups of overall tests are carried out to verify the engineering practicability of the ground penetrating radar system designed in this paper. |
