A Study On Engels' View Of Nature In Dialectics Of Natur

As history enters industrial civilization,especially in modern society,we have gained unlimited ability to change nature through the development of science and technology,which is an iron fact.Although we have to some extent mastered the laws of nature’s own existence and development,driven by the desire for benefits,we always view nature as the embodiment of human will,further exacerbating the contradiction between humans and nature.How to solve the various problems caused by the imbalance between humans and nature has become the focus of people’s attention.Engels’ view of nature absorbed the highest achievements of the development of natural science at that time.On the basis of reflection and criticism of the old materialism,he systematically expounded the dialectical materialism view of nature in Dialectics of Nature for the first time.This is an era that requires the thought of dialectics of nature and is constantly elevating its ideological connotation.This article traces the historical background and theoretical sources of Engels’ view of nature,and scientifically reveals the objective laws of nature through practice,the relationship between man and nature,the contradictions and solutions between humans and nature,as well as the logical development of the view of nature.It comprehensively displays the core content of the view of nature,and thus providing correct guidance for enriching and improving Marxist natural philosophy,appropriately handling the relationship between human being and nature,and promoting the construction of ecological civilization in China.In addition to the introduction,three sections are involved in this dissertation:The first section focuses on the background of the formation of Engels’ view of nature.First of all,Engels started from the realistic conditions of the emergence of the concept of nature to lay a realistic foundation for his dialectical materialism concept of nature.Second,Engels,on the basis of summarizing the epistemology methodology of modern natural science,sublated the concept of nature of German ancient philosophy and inherited the thought of Marx’s concept of nature,for the first time comprehensively expounded the dialectical materialism concept of nature.The second chapter mainly introduces the content overview of Engels’ view of nature.Firstly,this article elaborates on the overall picture of the concept of nature from the perspectives of the dialectical development process of nature,the origin of humanity,i.e.the differentiation process between humans and nature,the contradiction and coordination approach between humans and nature,and the pursuit of the unity of materialist views on nature and materialist views on history.Secondly,through the research on the development of modern natural science,Engels saved the conscious dialectics from the German classical idealism philosophy,established the mode of thinking of dialectics,and applied materialist dialectics to the nature.Its prominent feature is to implement the practice as the cornerstone and the theory of natural dialectics as the methodological support,effectively refute the old materialism,and draw a clear line with it.The third chapter mainly discusses the theoretical value and practical significance of the concept of nature in Dialectics of Nature.First of all,the dialectical materialism view of nature transcends the old materialism,overcomes the metaphysical view of nature,and is conducive to enriching and developing the Marxist view of nature.Secondly,the dialectical way of thinking in the dialectical materialism concept of nature promotes scientific and technological innovation and the progress of the times,and provides direction guidance for the research and development of modern natural science.At the same time,this thought contains the coordinated development of man and nature,which provides a series of theoretical resources for China’s ecological civilization construction,promotes China’s ecological civilization construction,and practices the concept of "sustainable development".
