| Xiaoxing’an Mountains, located in northeast China,is a permafrost distribution area.In recent years, global warming will affect the growth of vegetation in permafrost regions. Therefore, this study collected and processed meteorological data and remote sensing image data, based on linear regression analysis,Mann Kendall mutation test analysis, coefficient of variation method, image interpolation comparison method, and Pearson correlation analysis,to analyze the characteristics of climate change and spatiotemporal changes in vegetation coverage in the Xiaoxing’an Mountains, and further study the impact of climate change on vegetation coverage in the Xiaoxing’an Mountains,It is expected to provide a basis for the study of vegetation growth under climate warming in permafrost regions. The main conclusions drawn include the following three aspects:(1)the characteristics of climate change in Xiaoxing’an Mountains are as follows:the temperature has a rising trend. The precipitation tends to increase.Sunshine has a downward trend. The overall wind speed was in a downward trend before the 2010 s,and by 2010 the wind speed began to increase. The relative humidity is at a relatively stable level.Characteristics of climate abrupt changes in the Xiaoxing’an Mountains: the abrupt change in temperature occurred in 1986.The abrupt change in precipitation occurred in 2017.The mutation time of sunshine changes occurred in 1981,1988,and 2005.The abrupt change in wind speed occurred in 1971.The humidity fluctuates greatly and no fixed pattern is found.(2)the average vegetation coverage of the Xiaoxing’an Mountains in the past 30 years has reached 0.9053.From a time perspective, the vegetation coverage in the Xiaoxing’an Mountains is generally on the rise, indicating that the ecosystem in this region is in a relatively ideal and stable state. From a spatial perspective, changes in vegetation coverage in the Xiaoxing’an Mountains mainly occur in the border, northwest, and southeast parts. The analysis results of vegetation coverage change trend show that there is no significant change trend in vegetation growth in the Xiaoxing’an Mountains in the past 30 years.Analysis of the stability of vegetation coverage shows that there has been almost no change in vegetation coverage in the Xiaoxing’an Mountains in the past 30 years.(3)there is a weak negative correlation between temperature and vegetation coverage, which means that temperature changes have a negative impact on vegetation coverage in the Xiaoxing’an Mountains, and the impact is small. There is a weak positive correlation between precipitation and vegetation coverage, which means that precipitation changes have a positive impact on vegetation coverage in the Xiaoxing’an Mountains, and the impact is small. There is a weak negative correlation between sunshine and vegetation coverage, which means that sunshine changes have a negative impact on vegetation coverage in the Xiaoxing’an Mountains, and the impact is small. There is a weak negative correlation between wind speed and vegetation coverage, which means that wind speed changes have a negative impact on vegetation coverage in the Xiaoxing’an Mountains, and the impact is small. There is a weak positive correlation between relative humidity and vegetation coverage, which means that humidity changes have a positive impact on vegetation coverage in the Xiaoxing’an Mountains, and the impact is weak. The results of this paper reveal the laws and characteristics of climate and ecological environment changes in the Xiaoxing’an Mountains region, explore the correlation between climate change and vegetation coverage, and contribute theoretical methods to ecological research based on statistics and geographic information systems. At the same time, they also provide practical contributions to the discovery, governance, restoration, and sustainable development of ecological environmental issues in the Xiaoxing’an Mountains region. |
