Visualization technology is transform data or information into graphics and images,so that users can understand and analyze data or information more intuitively and clearly.The demand analysis for data with massive,multi-dimensional and spatio-temporal,after entering the 21 st century,has surpassed the ability to exist visualization technologies.Therefore,researchers have begun to focus on new visualization models and methods.It supports users to quickly mine useful information to make effective decisions from large-scale and complex data.This emerging subject is called visual analysis.Visual analysis technology can expand the research scope of traditional scientific fields and can mine the value of potential information in traditional scientific data,which is one of the important research directions in this field.In recent years,lakes have significant dramatic changes,which are caused by the global climate change and human activities.Therefore,in the field of lake science,the analysis of lake evolution has become a new research hotspot.With the rapid development of remote sensing technology,the amount of lake data has grown exponentially.The traditional analysis method of lake data has been stretched,and it is impossible to analyze the multi-dimensional spatio-temporal lake data systematically.In order to solve the above problems,this paper introduces the visual analysis technology to analyze the multi-dimensional spatio-temporal lake data,including the evolution of single and large spatial scale lakes.The specific research contents are as follows:(1)The lake temporal evolution visual analysis method based on the information graph is proposed.The method first preprocesses the remote sensing image data of the lake and extracts the water body.Then the method compares and analyzes the lake water body images in different research periods,and constructs the lake temporal evolution process into the lake evolution information map.Finally,according to the model of lake evolution,the lake evolution information map code interpretation table is defined,and the information map is visually encoded by visualization technology to quickly identify the lake change area and evolution law.(2)The visual analysis model of lake temporal and spatial evolution was proposed.According to the actual needs of lake spatio-temporal evolution analysis,we designed and implemented visual analysis methods such as lake overview,lake commonality and lake spatio-temporal map.Specifically,the lake area overview analysis is a visualization design of the basic information,the overall trend of area and the number of lakes.The lake area commonality analysis is a visualization design for the altitude distribution,spatial distribution and life cycle of the lake.The lake area spatio-temporal map analysis is a visualization design for the environmental information and the spatial distribution location information of the lake.(3)A visual analysis model of lake morphological evolution was proposed.The model defines visual analysis tasks for the actual needs of single lake morphological change analysis.Besides,it designs visual analysis methods such as lake evolution,lake morphological characteristic metric analysis and lake observation station data.Specifically,the analysis of lake evolution is a visual design of lake morphological evolution.The lake morphological feature metrics analysis method is designed to visualize the key feature metric of lake morphological features.The data analysis of lake observation stations is a visual design of multi-dimensional space-time lake station data.Based on the above methods and models,this paper developed the visual analysis system of the lake temporal and spatial development,and the visual analysis system of the lake morphology development.The effectiveness and practicality of the two systems were verified by case studies and expert assessments,which provided the scientific foundation for the sustainable development of water resources and ecological environment protection. |
