The scattering of the target surface contains the characteristic information of the target.Exploring the distribution characteristics of scattering can provide a reference for identifying different targets in the background environment.Bidirectional reflection distribution function(BRDF)can describe the scattering characteristics of rough surfaces and provide support for target recognition and tracking.In this paper,BRDF distribution characteristics of coated metal and the optimization of its model are studied,including experimental detection and simulation optimization of related theoretical functions.First of all,this paper describes the purpose and significance of the study of BRDF,summarizes the development and current situation of BRDF research at home and abroad,introduces the basic definition of BRDF,and compares five different BRDF models,then focuses on the principles of the Cook-Torrance model.Secondly,an experimental measurement system is set up to detect the BRDF hemispheric scattering surface distribution of three kinds of coated metal samples in 1550 nm incident light,record the measured data and analyze the distribution characteristics of BRDF.Thirdly,by introducing genetic algorithm,genetic simulated annealing algorithm and genetic tabu search algorithm,combining with Cook-Torrance model and the measured data,the unknown parameters of different samples are inverted,and a sample simulation model is established.The results show that the model is in good match with the measured data.By comparing and analyzing the calculation speed and accuracy of three algorithms,it is found that the performance of two hybrid algorithms is better than that of the single genetic algorithm,and genetic tabu search algorithm is the best algorithm.Finally,aiming at the Cook-Torrance model,two improved models based on physics are analyzed,and the improved model fitting with the measured value is obtained by algorithm inversion.
