| Toppling failure is a common instability mode of anti-dip rock slope.However,there are no explicit theoretical methods to determine the failure surface of this kind of instability mode.Therefore,a critical equilibrium model combined with bi-directional progressive structural optimization method(BESO)is proposed to predict the safety factor and failure surface of rock slope.Taking the anti-dip rock slope with toppling failure as the research object,and based on the basic parameters of the slope,BESO method and limit equilibrium theory,the matlab program is compiled to search and determine the critical failure surface of the slope.Two anti-dip rock slope model tests are used to test the feasibility and effectiveness of this method in slope stability analysis.This method is used to study the influence of structural plane distribution on slope stability.The main contents are as follows:(1)Taking the anti-dip rock slope with toppling failure as the research object,the slope stability analysis system is constructed.Based on the existing method of determining the critical sliding surface of the slope,the slice method program of the research object is designed,and the simulation strategy of random failure surface is proposed.(2)Based on the basic parameters of slope,BESO method and limit equilibrium theory,MATLAB subroutine is compiled to predict the safety factor of the studied slope;Combined with the superposition cantilever beam theory and the limit equilibrium theory,the critical equilibrium state of the anti-dip rock slope is defined,the corresponding stability criterion in the slope stability analysis and the convergence condition of BESO algorithm are proposed,the sensitivity analysis is carried out,and the critical failure surface of the slope is finally searched and determined.(3)Two anti-dip rock slope model tests are used to test the effectiveness of this method in slope stability analysis.The calculated results are in good agreement with the test results,which proves the feasibility of predicting the stability of this kind of slope by critical equilibrium and bi-directional progressive structural optimization method(CE-BESO).(4)The critical equilibrium and bi-directional progressive structural optimization method(CE-BESO)is used to study the influence of structural plane distribution on slope stability,and the CE-BESO model of structural plane analysis is established.The results show that the structural plane distribution has a significant influence on slope stability,and the slope gradual support mode is proposed. |
