T.S.Chen’s Research On Scientific And Technological Thought And Institutional Activities

T.S.Chen,a well-known industrial microbiologist,is the founder of Chinese industrial microbiology field.T.S.Chen has been engaged in the industry for 70 years,and has made important contributions to the technological innovation,talent training,knowledge dissemination and popularization,and system improvement of industrial microorganisms,leaving a strong mark in the history of industrial microbial development in China.The focus of this paper is to summarize T.S.Chen’s scientific and technological ideas by refining his practical activities such as scientific and technological innovation and scientific and technological communication.Chapter 1 Introduction.The origin of the topic selection,the purpose and significance of the topic selection,the research trends,research methods and innovations at home and abroad were introduced.Chapter 2 is the germination of T.S.Chen’s scientific and technological thought.Based on the new historical materials,this paper sorts out the germination process of T.S.Chen’s scientific and technological thoughts,analyzes the impact of T.S.Chen’s study experience during his study in Beijing and studying in the United States on his subsequent scientific and technological practice,and further explores the changes in T.S.Chen’s scientific and technological thinking in various countries.Chapter 3 is the practical basis of T.S.Chen’s scientific and technological thought.Taking T.S.Chen’s journal articles and published books as research materials,combined with the scientific research context at that time,and using time to sort out T.S.Chen’s achievements in the fields of alcoholic fermentation,traditional brewing and organic acid fermentation.In addition,the knowledge dissemination of T.S.Chen in journals was studied by quantitative methods.T.S.Chen’s practical activities reflect his scientific and technological thinking.Chapter 4 is the main content of T.S.Chen’s scientific and technological thoughts.Based on the above scientific and technological practice activities of T.S.Chen,T.S.Chen’s scientific and technological ideas are refined.The first part is to focus on T.S.Chen’s scientific and technological patriotic thought,the origin and connotation of T.S.Chen’s sugar industry saving thought,and summarize T.S.Chen’s idea of loving the nation according to T.S.Chen’s scientific and technological practice activities.The second part is the strategic thinking of T.S.Chen’s science and technology,which extracts T.S.Chen’s traditional skills exploration,basic research,resource conservation and people-oriented scientific and technological thoughts,especially analyzes the changes and reasons for Chen’s attitude towards traditional skills in different periods,and also analyzes the reasons why T.S.Chen attaches importance to basic research.Chapter 5 is T.S.Chen in the history of industrial microbiology in China.In this chapter,the propagation path of early industrial microorganisms in China is briefly sorted out,and the role played by T.S.Chen in the development of industrial microorganisms in China is briefly sorted out,and then its positioning in the history of industrial microorganisms is located.Chapter 6 Conclusion.Based on the above research,T.S.Chen’s scientific and technological practical activities,scientific and technological ideas and system improvement are summarized.
