As the basic status of higher vocational education,secondary vocational education should provide students with basic skills and qualified culture for higher vocational education.It is the requirements of the times and practical needs of vocational education to constantly update the teaching concepts and methods of secondary vocational education."Activity list guidance" refers to the design of "activity list" by teachers according to their academic situation in classroom teaching,and guide students to take the "activity list" as the carrier It is a teaching mode that takes "cooperative learning group" as the basic activity unit to complete activities and achieve teaching objectives.Under the dual background of the requirements of the new era and the promotion of the policy of "vocational education college entrance examination",this study attempts to design and apply the teaching mode of "activity single guidance" with the teaching of "basic genetics" as the carrier.Through the questionnaire survey,this paper understood the students’ learning status of the course of basic genetics.The results showed that the students’ interest in the course of basic genetics is not high,their learning habits were not good,and their learning effect was not good.According to the research results,around the basic elements of the "activity sheet guided learning" teaching mode,the "activity sheet" structure that conforms to the characteristics of the "Genetics foundation" course was developed,the specific teaching process of the activity sheet that conforms to the learning situation is designed,and the teaching effect of the teaching mode applied to the "Genetics foundation" course of the 18 grade landscape technology major in a vocational school in Dingxi City was reflected and evaluated.Application research showed that "activity single guidance" could be effectively integrated into the teaching of basic genetics in secondary vocational schools,and helped to improve the learning interest of secondary vocational students,cultivated their good learning habits,and improved their learning effects.It could become an effective teaching strategy to solve the problems of low learning interest,poor learning habits,and poor learning effected of secondary vocational students.
