In recent years,large gas fields like kelameli field have been found in Junggar basin,which proves that there are rich igneous oil and gas resources in this area.Seismic inversion is a key technology in igneous reservoir prediction,which can provide great help for reservoir and source rock evaluation.The study area is the Carboniferous volcanic rock stratum of somewhere in the north of Junggar basin.Through the fine processing of seismic data and petrophysical analysis,combined with seismic and geological data,explore the eruption mode of volcanic institutions and the lithofacies division of volcanic strata in this area.According to the results,we carry out the seismic waveform inversion,then analyze the inversion data volume to determine the distribution of reservoirs and source rocks in this area.This paper introduces the basic theory of waveform feature inversion.Firstly,the beam-forming technology and slowness filtering technology are selected to process the seismic data.Then,based on the waveform classification technology,combined with the waveform characteristics of seismic signals of different lithofacies,logging data and seismic data,the volcanic mechanism is divided into different lithofacies,so as to construct the inversion framework of different lithofacies types.And then combine the logging curves with vertical high-resolution and petrophysical analysis results,we carry out the seismic meme inversion and waveform chaos inversion in Carboniferous volcanic strata.Finally,geological information,seismic data,logging data and waveform feature inversion results are combined to complete the identification and fine characterization of reservoirs and source rocks,which provides a basis for determining the exploration region in this area.The application results in this area show that this method can effectively distinguish lithology and guide actual production.
